That's where I go. Best place. Their work is great and they're the cheapest around. It's a small mom and pop shop. I had my first car done almost 10yrs ago and the tint is still great on it.

driving all the way from oregon to socal for a tint, i don't know if that makes much sense. plus i don't have very good experience with ca tint (yes i have been there, 2 cars)

500 bucks for tint, what kind of tint. it's not impossible. the highest end stuff like huper optik, indeed it costs about 500 bucks to tint 5 windows. tint doesn't have to be made of gold to cost that much.... if it's normal dye films, which does nothing against heat, would probably cost a lot cheaper

Don't mean to thread-jack, but what do you guys think is the lightest amount of tint that you can get that will still look like it may be stock (and thus avoiding a fix-it ticket)? I'm looking for a place to tint too but being as how I only have my front windows, any tint I get will technically be illegal. So I want something that could pass as "factory" tint.

50% ceramic is enough heat/uv protection as 5% limo regular.

Just got my GS350 done at Rocky Mountain in Livermore. This place is great...and that's an understatement. Matt and his son Dustin were both a pleasure to meet. Matt took the time to discuss the % options with me, based on my needs. I was originally going for 15% on the back and 35% on all the rest, but I told him I was concerned about cops pulling me over. Since I have a daily driver and have kids, he recommended 15% on the back 3 windows and 50% on the driver and passenger sides. Basically this means max sun protection for the kids and a nice light tint for wife and myself. I opted for the ceramic Formula 1 tint.
I can't say enough about the way they run their business. They are very personable and do not hesitate to take the time to answer all my questions honestly without trying to push only their most expensive products/services. I highly recommend this shop to anyone considering a tint job. I live in Fremont but did not mind driving to Livermore, based on all the positive references. I can definitely confirm this place is top notch.

I got mine done there also.

They did a pretty good job and they also offer 5% off if you pay with cash.

I just got a ticket in Sacramento for my 35% front windows. I'm just going to get it removed and get the ticket signed off.
