Would any of the 2IS owners be interested in rolling to meets at Milpitas Square on Friday nights? There are always s2k and m3's. Last time I went 350z, rsx, and g35's were also present. The crowd there is pretty mature and definitely chill. I'm always the only ISx50 there when I go so it would be cool if some others could make an appearance.

I'm not sure if I'm going this week yet because I might be busy and it might also rain but let's start a dialogue on this to see how interested you guys are.

(Milpitas Square is that little shopping/restaurant center in Milpitas off of where 237 and 880 meet.)

I know what you are talking about. Its that plaza over where 99 Ranch Market and Jujubi are. I used to go there all the time. Thats where people meet up for the private runs. Its true, alot of modified cars go there. The S2000 people hold meets there also. Its a good place because you have your pearl drink places just right there. The only reason I stopped going is because of Milpitas police. They just like to rain on everyone's parade. But other than that its a good hang out spot where you can just talking about cars and have a nice pearl drink.

Hmm... it is in my area, 5 min from my house.

I don't mind to come out to meet, but I need to make sure it will be a chill gathering.

I wasn't limiting it to just 2IS', the meet is always open to anyone but I'm personally curious about other 2IS owners since that's the only model forum I'm active in.

And it's always chill there. Everyone just stands around and talks and gets boba. I haven't heard of any Milpitas runs since high school and the closest to any authority you'll see there is the Milpitas Square security car that rolls by ever so often just to keep their shopping center in check. I actually think the crowd looks down at street racing because this one time some guy with a wrx was asking around for a run but everyone was just ignoring him.

I went there last night (12/15/06). It was a friendly gathering of BWM group and with Honda, Evos and STis, Nissan G&Zs....

I went solo without knowing anyone there, but turned out that I made a few new friends.. EC46s with lambo doors, in ACS dress up, in CSL full int/ext kit... hot hot hot! It was a fun late night gathering!

You should have let us know you were going! I felt unmotivated to go because no one said anything. I saw on the s2ki forums that they had a good turnout, glad you liked it.

how are the runs in your areas? are there any races going on in hot spots? this could also be a meet for you guys + the running from cops lol

i see them there all the time. that's the part of the parking lot i always park at (try to avoid other cars...). several fridays already i went there around 8 to have dinner with friends, and when i came back i saw quite a few s2k and other cars. they always look at me when i pulled out, dunno, guess i have no social skills

I was actually looking for you (or another Lex owner) but I was the only one with a Lex there! Anyway, I did not expect there was a meet there that night, and were about 40 cars total since 10pm. 20+ EC46s were still there at midnight.

Yeah... lets meet next weekend. (if no rain!)

wow so many cars? that's amazing (and it's cool that the plaza security has no issues. i think the latest i left was like aroune 10pm and i saw maybe 20 cars

i think some of the NSX prime guys meet there as well. And some drift guys at late nights but I don't go there very often.
