Hey Glenn... any idea if wheel techniques can repair bent 3-piece chrome wheels? Would the cost include a re-dipping in chrome? Not sure if you are their spokesperson, but just curious.
Thanks

They fix 3 piece 2 piece whatever. Doesn't matter. About the only wheel they can't guarantee are cracks and leaks. Sometimes the wheel is just not good quality aluminum.
Chroming is always an expensive proposition. Any chrome process will cost over $100 per wheel.
The thing about Wheel Tech is if you have wheels that you really like, but you damage one and they are no longer sold new, then you will probably spend the money to fix that one damaged wheel instead of throwing away the whole set, since it would be hard to sell 3 wheels.
My rule of thumb is if you damage a wheel that is worth less than $200, unless it is just some curb rash, just buy a new one.
Those of us with High Dollar wheels, when we damage or curb those, it is still way better fixing the rim than buying a whole new one.

Here's My Long Story With A Happy Ending
The one thing I see happen at this shop is when you damage one or more of the rims, it is usually a good time toi think about having all 4 rims get a face lift. Maybe change the color, polish the center, the inner lips, take off the clear coat, etc.
I curbed 3 out of 4 of my rims and the wheels were looking really old and out dated. One day I had some MAJOR damage on my rim. Then I took them to Wheel Techniques and the rest is history.
