I suggest using Clear Armor instead. They use 3M material that's a bit thicker than xpel but it doesn't adversely affect the appearance of your car. We just had our IS and RX done last Friday at ADS in San Bruno, 650-455-8690. Phil is a CL member and has it on his show IS with custom molded-in wheel flares. It's $600. for a FULL kit, stock vehicle + you get a free car wash and wax by him at a later time). It's worth the slightly higher price over expel bc more areas are covered/protected. Retail price is $700.- $1000.(new car dealers).
It's a bit far from SJ to SB but I think it was worth the effort (we went from Fremont).
Tell him Ken sent you.

I've seen Phil's (ADS Mobile) work and it is amazing.
But, if you're looking for someone a bit closer or who can drive out to you, I highly recommend Ron Ocampo. He did my IS and he does an unbelievable job on detailing services as well.
