I have no idea what I am doing for the HPDE. Another friend is going and I haven't made any arrangements yet. You're more then welcome to tag along, I just don't know if I am leaving at 4 am or staying there, or if you'd have a couch or a floor to sleep on... Just get in touch with me after the weekend and I should know more. I will also look back here to see what is going on.

The day before the meet I did an AutoX at Nassau Coliseum. I placed 10th out of 14 but with fresh mods and the other cars I was classed against, I didn't do bad.... It was also only my third event
bmwcca ny 6/28Here is the results from my second event NASA NE 6/15. I had a raw time good for 3rd in my class and 7th in two classes above me. Completely different classing schemes though.
Let me know if you guys are ever doing anything in the NYC/ North Jersey area please let me know.
Does anyone have pics of the guy from the S430 grabbing dashboard when I was goofing off in the parking lot at the recreation center? I had seen someone with a cam but I don't remember who it was... I just want to see if you can see him yelling and looking for something to grab onto for my sig...
His hand prints are still on my dash in the dust

Yeah... I think the clutch was just really heated up between the autox the day before and all the twisty's... It hasn't done it since thankfully.I am upgrading to a KLEEMANN lightweight flywheel and clutch good up to 400hp. The stock flywheel is 50lbs. The LWT is 28, and the clutch components come from an S4. No more of that ****, freaked me out. Might have also been that my rear tires are practically slicks
I am sorry, I forget your name...
The person I had seen taking video was a taller white guy with dirty blonde hair, he was there with his gf? I spotted him taking vid of everyone doing the burnouts... Is that Angel?
Sorry, I was late and missed the introductions....

Ok-
I have to learn to stop being late.
I still haven't confirmed my HPDE plans. Are you planning on running or just hanging? Did you want to cruise out there or ride with me?
I have no passangers or accomadations so far so it doesn't matter either way. Just let me know.

NUK:
I'm going to pass on this one... I need to get the sways and tune a few things up before going... I will be going to the august event.
For the August event it will be 4 cars and we're booking a room and we will do the 2 day event.

Like everyone else here, I'm not sure if the videos are coming or not, but in any case, it still feels pretty good to have held the meet in Bear Mtn at the right time with all the old and new folks. Looking back at all the other car club meets held in Bear Mtn State Park, I personally think we were one of the biggest, flashiest, and most organized out of all. We filled the day with food, cold liquids, plenty of laughs, raffles, photo shoots, and sporty/comfort drives around the area, and that's something to smile upon
Before I forget, I have to give much props to Leevon, who showed me around the recreation area and the picnic spot we claimed. We are definitely more than welcome to come back there for another meet in the future.
