Gauging interest in a Lexus/Toyota fall meet sometime in Sep or Oct depending on interest and any other conflicting shows. I have access to a dealership centrally located to NJ, PA, DC, NY but don't want to pursue unless there is enough interest.

Interest is not "I may show up" but real enthusiasm for a meet at a Lexus dealership !!!! I do not have time to organize but will assist since I know the GM of the dealership and he's game. Who can step up and take the reigns for this meet and make it EPIC !!!! (....FYI....I hate that word epic....)

Email me if interested in being the lead organizer and respond to this post only if you're really willing to attend.

This will be a Lexus/Toyota meet/show, so please keep this in mind.

I have a meeting setup with the dealership tomorrow. Gauging the responses, or lack of, I may pull the plug and not waste my time on this.

OK.....I'm looking at Oct 4th which is a Sunday. I've seen little traffic or interest on CL and on the NELOC FB page and no one has emailed me to lead the organization.

I will give it until next week and if the interest is not there and no one steps up to lead the meet, I will not pursue it.

Lexus of Cherry Hill is gracious enough to offer their dealership so if we don't get a minimum of at least 50 vehicles, I will not waste their time opening up on a Sunday.

i hear you man. its slow everywhere around here. I wish we had weekly meets like the south florida crew does. It makes no sense. We have 4 good months of weather and have no meets! come on people!

Yeah man this is def sad to see ! I'm going to car shows and don't see many Lexus owners !! Bummer

I will be meeting with the dealership next week to see if the 18th of Oct works for them. Hopefully it's a date that will have more participants than excuses. If I feel there's a lack of interest between now and next week, I'll pull the plug on the whole thing. I still need someone to head up this effort since I DO NOT HAVE THE TIME TO BABYSIT or organize the event and attendance !!

Post up if you're coming to the meet if I can lock into the 18th.....if not, I'll never try this again......

Thank you for trying to set this up. I for one can and will make it to a meet in Oct. However, my limited time with the Lexus club has shown me that there are very few owners of Lexus models who are willing to participate in anything.

Sad but true.......

Now that I have access to a meeting place that's actually willing to help us out, I get little interest....which is ironic because I hear a bunch of complaining that no one sets up meets anymore......

OK.....I finally scheduled the meeting with the dealership this coming Tuesday. I'm proposing a date change to Oct 18th so we'll see what their response is. Hopefully there's still interest even though responses to this meet are very disappointing.
