Default Anyone know a good NJ mechanic?

Hi,
I proudly purchased my first upgrade -- TEIN CS! However, I will go ballistic if my local mechanic damages them during installation.

Can anyone protect my sanity and recommend a GOOD mechanic in NORTH JERSEY?
Someone comfortable working on LEXUS and TEIN products...

Thanks!

do you have any mechanical skill ? If so, I will give you a hand .. the hardest part is not letting the

brake fall forward and possibly damage the wheels speed sensor. If you go to a mechanic, make sure he sees that the CEL's are not on . This way if he does break the sensor , it is his fault

Unfortunately, I just don't have the time anymore. I will take your suggestion about the CEL; good point.

Thanks for the offer to help!

Sorry for the stupidity on my part but....

"If you go to a mechanic, make sure he sees that the CEL's are not on"

What's a CEL.... Yep, I'm looking to have strut/spring work and would enjoy any heads up I can get.

Thanks....

Red face Cel

CEL stands for "Check Engine Light".

TLW brings up a good point. I would have taken the sensors that keep your car from sliding and veering off the highway for granted.

May times when people get suspension work done, afterwards the VSC lights will come on.

This is usually due to the sensor breaking..search VSC lights and you will see what I am talking about

Bazooka JOe, where from in NJ?

Thanks for the info. I would not have thought to point that out before the work was done. Of course the standard answer would be that the light was on before you came in....

I do walk arounds on both my GS and SC with whoever does my work in case sokmething get damaged.

Damn shame I'm down here in DC trying to get this done.

Thanks again...
