Hey guys...i'm trying to see if there is a local shop in the tri-state area that has experience in doing GTE swaps into the GS3. I'm currently looking into shipping the car to SP engineering but wouldn't mind staying local just in case any problems arose in the future. Let me know if you know of any....

how much are you willing to spend??! this is not an easy job by any means....

there is one shop in particular I'd consider giving a call or email to inquire about such a project:

I'm not really worried about the money as long as the work is top notch. I am willing to ship the car to CA to get great work done but would like to get a local place to do it...

I did some reading about the shop...I've met George at the track when I was racing my DSM...good guy. I was just afraid of the quality of work, but looking at the pics of the IS300, woah! I guess i'll give them a call and see what they can do for me. Thanks for the help Soprano!

Thanks for the tip. I was thinking of sending my car down south as another option. Just didn't know any reputable shops.

I had originally sent my car down to south florida, www.toyomoto.com

then thankfully, within the past year, George started RTC www.racingtech.net right by teterboro airport off rt 46 in Hackensack, not even 10min from GWB..........if you havent yet, inqiuire with them next week and see what they tell you, ask to talk to Dan about it....hopefully those pictures above show you that these guys are serious and can do the job...
