North DFW Mechanic Recommendation
Just bought a 2000 LS 400 last week. I'm looking to get the timing belt done, I'll be supplying the Aisin Timing Belt Kit. I know there was a thread several months ago regarding mechanic recommendations, just seeing if anyone had any other mechanics they trust farther north. Plano, Allen, McKinney, Garland/Richardson area. Any additional tips on the AISIN kit or replacement of the timing belt in general would be welcome as well. Thanks!

Lexus Test Driver
Two places I trust, one is a Lexus/Toyota master mechanic who works for a Lexus dealer and does stuff on the side (but he's in Euless/Grapevine area). I'm sure you've considered the other alternative, which is Davenport with their location in Plano Davenport is cheaper than Sewell/Park Place but a true independent would be even more price-friendly in most cases. Call Davenport for a quote =)
