Default Mechanic Recommendation in DFW

Hi all. I just moved to Dallas and need my clutch replaced. Does anyone recommend a shop in the area? I saw Advanced Autodynamics was recommended in an older thread. Thanks.

....yes that's my mechanic......he worked for Sewell for several years, then ran the service department of BMW America in Vegas, before coming back to Dallas. He knows Lexus & german cars, inside out. There are alot of options in the DFW area, but I've used Frank (Advanced Autodynamics) for years, on all my cars

The only folks I let remotely close to any of my vehicles is Quantum Mechanix in Mansfield. It's frustrating to try and find a reputable mechanic, but Tommy is the absolute best. I live in Dallas, but will happily take my car to him any day of the week. He's seriously the last mechanic you'll ever need to find. His prices are fair, the quality of the work is superb, but what really makes a difference is he'll stop to tell you exactly what's wrong with the car, what needs to be done to fix it, and any troubles you may run into in the future....without the upsell, and without the BS you sometimes get from other shops. I've known him for years and he's the only one I trust to touch my cars.

Old thread but doesn't hurt to add my 2 cents. Billy at Lonestar Elite Automotive in Keller.

JP Euro

3521 Security St
Garland TX

I have been a customer and friend of the owner (Jason Phan) since 2003. Stand up guy. He is Factory Certified in:

Toyota
Lexus
BMW
Mercedez-Benz
Bentley
Jaguar
Audi
Lamborghini
Ferrari
Porsche
McLaren
Land Rover/Range Rover
Lotus
Cadillac
Ford (GT and Mustang platforms only currently)
Jeep
SRT
and more...

He and his crew are amazing. Top notch work, loaner cars, and they stand behind all the work they do. They even have a 1-ton diesel pickup and a car hauler, so they can come get your car to do service/repairs and bring it back if you can't get away. They will even bring you a loaner on the trailer if need be.

Ask for Jason, tell him Josh Morrison sent you, and he will treat you right.
