Would any of you guys be interested in having your interior console lighting, switches, window controls, etc., being swapped from the ugly green to your color preference LED? If we can get a big enough group of people willing to come to the Dallas area we can get LED_Guy to come out and do the swap. Let me know what you guys think???

If i had one of them fancy 2nd gen cars i would lol. But changing to Led's in the IS is about $50 in leds and maybe 30mins to swap :-)

He's worked mainly on G35's but has been doing LED work for several years now. I wouldn't take that quote at face value, since not everyone wants every single light converted to an LED.

You'll also have to take into consideration the costs of flying this guy over here, putting him up in a hotel and all that.

Also if something goes wrong, you'd have more down time than a local guy.

I would rather a local guy do it, and I am willing to be the first IS he has done, but I didnt realize it would cost so much...I guess I should give him a shout and see if he can take a look at my car and give me a better quote. Thanks again waijai...

Well Im back on the wagon for getting LED guy out here, so please if you want this LED swap let me know or post on here so I can get in contact with him...we need at least 10 people...

Will you PM LED guy and see if he is willing to stay where ever your hotel is located?
He has pm'ed me saying he looked at flying in Jan 2nd - Jan 5th and it was close to $500 round trip for airfare and hotel...he said he can get 2-3 cars done a day...he would charge the same prices he said in his original post, but we would have to cover his travel expense so if we had the minimum of 10 people it would be 400(for LED Swap) + 50(for Travel/10people) = 450 total as a maximum to pay for the swap, the more people the cheaper it will be...or if anyone has hookups for airfare as well as hotels it would make it cheaper for all of us...
