Anyone interested in joining a couple of Evos and Subies from DFW
heading down to meet up w/this cruise?

I am driving my favorite FarmRoad route which might be as much fun as the HillCountry route,
(actually their route looks like a great 'near Austin' drive, but a 30+ car follow-the-leader might be an experience,
especially if we can get a hefty NTEC showing

DFW meet up and cruise down
7:30 Kroger/Starbucks in Mansfield (actually we park in front of the Panda Express)Kroger E85 station - Mansfield, TX (click for Goggle Map)
12ish arrive for lunch/join the Subie Cruise group

the initial route is identical, Venus, Maypearl and then south toward the Hill Country
one fuel stop, so bring on the Starbucks and have a full tank
Marlin: Shell, Exxon, Chevron (ought to satisfy the group)

Great questions.
Its a one day round-trip event combining two cruises:
our fast farm road cruise to meet up with their 12:00 lunch at Rudy's,
and then their route near Austin.
I'd love to coordinate another 3day to the greater HillCountry area, but thats a much longer trip.
I personally am considering staying overnight on Sat. just to avoid returning on i-35!
Well, really, it sounds like there's something developing Sat night following the cruise. . .
so i hope everyone feels free to do what suits themselves. . .
I think the group's gonna be large enough that some may go early, some stay overnight, and like planned, make the one day round trip
looks like we need to leave about 7:30am

Good times were had by all. We rolled out from Mansfield with 16 cars (EVOs, WRXs, Caddy cts-v, and a lone Lexus IS300. Hit the twisties all the way down to Austin and met up 35+ Scoobies and a mini, 280z, & some others that i might have missed. Hit up their route around the hill country. Ended up at Saltlicks but man the whole parking lot was full and the wait was too long to get tables so we all scattered like roaches lol. Drove back on I35 at a leisure rate to calm the adrenaline.
