Newbie from Plano, TX

Whats up gentlemen!

Just bought a 93' LS400. Won't be picking it up till the 10th. I'll post pics as soon as I get it but it's a white on tan with 86k miles. 2 owners, clean carfax. Has some scratches and the leather is cracked on the driver side which I'll be fixing but other than that, it is CLEAN.

Look forward to meeting everybody soon. Thanks everyone!

Haha that's the one Texfinn. Good find man. Yeah, car is clean. Has a few scratches here and there but I'll get that taken care of. Looks like it may have a steering rack leak as well but that shouldn't be an issue.

Thank you guys for the warm welcome. First thing on my list is try to fix all the scratches and the scrape on the back bumper. Should be easy (I work in a dealership).

Then comes the 15% ceramic tint all around, and then I'll start with the audio.

After that point, I'm not sure whether to do a few engine mods, or drop it and put wheels on it. I'm gonna eventually do both, but the engine mods seem more appealing than the wheels and drop right now because of the cost factor. I'm sure the drop isn't THAT expensive, but the wheels....I don't wanna put any wheels on it. We'll see what my Parts manager can do for me on a 6 spoke set of lorenzo's I've had my eye on for a while. :D

I picked this one up for $4,800 and I found it on Craigslist. Didn't haggle with him much because he was selling it for clean trade-in book value and to be honest, the easiest people to close are sales people or people in the same business, which I am. I'm an ASM at Lone Star Buick GMC in McKinney. lol I'm weak.

Good find. I used to own a 91 and LOVED it, plan to pick up another LS at some point. In case you haven't already found them, a few threads to get you started:
