UTD doesn't open until 1PM for staff and faculty today. I'm not setting a tire off the driveway until then.
I've read too many stories about how SCs and ice and rain don't mix , so the Regency will be braving the ice today. I'm saving the safe front-driver for the wife and her long trek down the DNT.

It's pretty amazing. With the all-season tires and the high weight, she does amazingly well.
It's of no consequence now though. Because of difficulty with refreezing water/ice, UTD just went ahead and cancelled classes for the rest of the day and night like the other universities around here. No work today; no school tonight.

My biggest problem wasnt the slush today, instead it was the sand that turned to dirty mud that stacked up in the middle of the lane on 35... who woulda thought I could bottom out on that?
