Default H&R Spring Install Quote

I just got quoted $450 to install my H&R springs by a shop here in NoVA. Is this too high? Anyone can recommend a good reputable place to go to in order to get my springs installed in NoVA?

to R&R springs is about an hour per corner actually a little more so no 450 isn't bad

I think that is way over, but I don't live in Maryland so I don't know how much they usually charge for springs. I would give JE Import a call and see how much they would charge and compare the price.

It's expensive to have just springs installed because it's more labor intensive than coilovers. I would say either install the fronts yourself and have a shop do the rears (the fronts are a lot easier), get a new set of shocks and tophats to go with the springs and assemble them yourself or get coilovers.

Ptunning charges 150 for alignment, what makes you think they going to do spring install for less then 400.Lmao It is what it is. Peoople are so cheap these days i swear. Look up labor rates its over 4 hours to R&R struts on any car. Most shops in this area charge over 100 per hour dealers charge 130-150. Its a cost of running a business cant afford it, do it yourself.

What kind of car is it for? Because I've installed shocks and springs on a IS350 before and am able to do it for a price.
