it used to be 35% for the front is legal, but that changed a lil over a year ago to 70% as the legal limit for tint on the two front widows.

it doesn't really matter about tints b/c u can always just get a receipt saying you paid for a tint removal then show it to them when you go to court and they will dismiss it...welcome to NY nd im in new hyde park also anyways there's a meet this friday 6/25/10 check the neloc or northeast threads for the place and time

 

Umm the trick of getting a receipt for tints being removed does not work. You have to go to your local precinct and get an affidavit. I got two tickets for each window last month on the Grand Central near Laguardia. The ticket is 90 each window.

 

wth thats facked up...it always works for me and my bro i mean i live in nassau county and people usually never get tint tickets at all and especially never for each window. I mean since you got them off the grand central the cop was really trying to mess with you cuz ive never heard of any1 getting tint tix on the highway...i mean its an equipment ticket and those tickets are fix-a-tickets you usually get 24 hours to fix it but you can always just send in a receipt. Did you try it? What did they say?

 

i live in Dutchess County. Cops around here are cool with the tint and exhaust, unless your car is really loud/flashy. If you have a simple drop and not-too-loud exhaust, i wouldn't sweat it.

its the second time that i got tagged on the GCP for tints and speeding once....second time he tried to tag me for speeding...i wus doin 57 in a 50...ofcourse he tried to claim it was a 40 zone....so instead here u go sir..two tint tickets.
i didnt fix it...paid the fine.
