I've been eating in Chinatown all my life.....no issues for me !!! I like Ocean City Seafood Restaurant for Dim Sum.

I do like to go down to Wash Ave for Pho at Nam Phoung or South Street to eat Greek food at South Street Slouvlaki.

If you want to eat sushi on a special occassion, head to Morimoto on Chestnut. The sashimi is soooooo fresh there.....and don't forget the double toro.

Le Petit Creperie is inside Houston Hall. Great crepes but I have them too often (twice or three times a week?)

I really love Ruby's diner for burgers. They have on in KOP and also one in Ardmore area.

There's Dalassandro's steaks (already been mentioned by another member) in Manayunk/Roxboro area.

There's Tommy Guns in Manayunk. Great bbq. Bobby McFerrin's daughter went to my highschool so he was always in the area and my friends and I would always see him in Tommy Guns. He treated us a couple of times also.

Reading (pronounced REDDING) terminal. THE GREATEST PLACE to eat. You've got Rick's Cheesesteaks in there, the Amish Dry-rub ribs, Gelato ice cream, etc. In philly? Go to the Reading Terminal!

Sang Kee is also very good for chinese cuisine but primarily for peking duck. Owned by the parents of a friend of mine.

Ocean City is also great for chinese cuisine.

There's Banana Leaf for Malaysian/Indian cuisine. Great food for great price!

Asian Bistro for all-you-can-eat sushi for like $20. A lot of people go to Minado's in Norristown to get all-you-can-eat sushi but I think they're way over priced and the sushi is not that great.

For all-you-can-eat korean bbq. There's Yung-bin-Gwan in Abington area. About $22-23 a person for all-you-can-eat korean style bbq including sang-gyup-ssal (korean pork meat, like unsalted bacon), LA-style Kalbi (marinated beef wrapped around rib-bone) and much more.

Let's not forget the big names like Pat's, Geno's, Jim's, Tony Lukes, Lorenzo's (for pizza).

More pricey restaurants include Cin Cin (asian cuisine) in chestnut hill, Hokka Hokka (asian cuisine) in chestnut hill, Osaka (asian cuisine) in chestnut hill.

Johnny Manyana's in Manayunk for great mexican food.

I'll post more later.

I use to go there all the time for noodles, but now I like Ting Wong, or Joe's over here in Jersey.

If it's at Ocean City, I'll have to try and make that one.

Short ride, well worth the trip. Maybe a North meets south meet?
