Default Anyone in VA?

I'm recently relocating to the VA area for school. Does anyone know any places in the area that do decent paintjobs for a reasonable price? My hood was murdered by the FL sun before I got my hands on it. The front and rear bumpers could use a little love too.

yeah....my spot in VA beach is London Bridge Motors... it is outside of NAS Oceana ask for the body shop. I think his name is Mr. Moore. He did some work on my Red 300z and black Tahoe. Tell him you know my he should hook you up. (757) 463-2659

Okay thanks for the help. Do you know about how much he charges? I really need to get the hood and front bumper repainted. If it isn't too much though I may get the entire body painted (depending on whether or not I can get my hands on a 97 front bumper).

my boy owns stock or modified body works. He's painted most of the cars in our crew. Check him out ask for joey tell him joe dizon sent you. He will take care of you for a decent price. You can check out the cars hes painted on his site or our crews site www.teamultraspeed.com

The best thing to do is take it down there. I will be in town in two weeks. We can meet up. He is a fair dude with great skills. Always get two or more estimates to make sure everyone is playing fair.

Yeah that's what I was planning on doing. No worries, I'm not exactly in a rush. I just spent some $$$ on my HID kit anyway so I gotta see how much money I'll have in 2 weeks to put towards the painting anyway. I'm not working anymore right now. =/ If I don't have enough saved I may wait a little longer to get it done.

I know the feeling.... hey you can hook up with sliva001. He is pretty knowledgeable as well as UltraVIP. Those two have a grip on what is going on in the Beach.... I am old school and some of my connects are no longer there. But I got your back...

Sounds good! I'll be in the area doing grad school for the next 4 years so it'll be good to see friendly faces with the same passions for cars I have. I'm just trying to hurry up and graduate so I can get ready to start on bigger and better projects. =D

I'm here now. I just got back from Washington D.C. I live in Hampton so I'm not too far from VA Beach. I think I'm going to have to start working again and just save up for the full paintjob though. When I was in DC someone definitely gave me a nice little lovetap. =/ Nothing too serious, but it's noticeable enough for me to not like it.

I live in Fairfax, VA. Just got back from VA Beach yesterday for a quick vacation. HighSoarer, we've been in the same places the past two days because I know you also bought those HID's from Val so you def had to meet up with him around the Maryland area. Good luck finding a reputable paint/body shop. I need paint too, but still working on the car.

Grand LS4
How'd you manage to stay there with how horrible some of the people drive there?!?

MR2TOSC4
Yeah we've definitely been the same places, I just installed mine yesterday. I am going back and using the zip ties to secure my ballasts when I get out of classes for the day because I didn't like how the metal mount setup was aggreeing with the car (I could barely get it in behind the battery, then couldn't find a mounting position). How are you liking your set so far? Did you get the 6000K.

I'm trying to get a little work done to my SC too, but unless I can find something to help bring the paint back on the hood, or get a hood replacement I'm going for the full paintjob soon (maybe during the summer if I get lazy though). Plus I got a love tap in DC for the weekend, so it's giving me the incentive to get my money up for paint.
