This weekend I decided to paint my engine covers. I started last night and took all day to finish but the end result was pretty good considering its all duplicolor. I'm just wanting for it to cure for the rest of the day, but I put it all back on to take pics.
i was planning to paint my engine cover also... did you use any clear coat and does it look like it was professionally done? use a spray gun? or just from a regular can

I still need to clear them. No spray gun, came straight out the can.
Thanks guys, Just paint my calipers also, but I didn't like the blue that duplicolor offers so I went with black instead. It was to dark for pics, so I'll post those later.
nice ****.. Now I want to go ahead and paint mine !!! LOL.. except if my car is SGM would it look good if I was to put it that same color on my cover. not the whole thing ofcourse... ya know??
nice job. i thought they were painted at carlisle. either way they look good.
They were, traded straight up last year with a .net member. His painted covers for my stock. They were supposedly professionally painted, but were really crappy looking instead. So I finally got around to re-doing them myself.
