Hey all, I'm planning to install an SRT intake soon. Took a long hard week to think about which system I should install and I think the SRT stole my heart. So after ordering the parts sometime next week or so, can anyone in the NYC area recommend me a good place to get my SRT intake installed perfectly and without a problem at a decent price? Thanks

 

The install is actually a piece of cake. I think overcoming the paranoia of cutting stock ECU wires is the hardest part. You will need a soldering iron though.

 

yeah that paranoia is what's getting to me. But if I can find a place that can have it done for about 100-120 ill be more than happy to pay that amount even if its a 20min job.

 

I would much rather pay someone on here who has already installed a SRT intake like 40bucks and have them do it.

That would be a great idea, Actually if anyone is interested in helping me install the SRT intake, someone who has already done so, and who lives in the NYC or preferably Queens area, let me know please =)

 

I think the shops will charge me way more. And I don't know about the tuner shops out there and how reliable they are.

 

Trust me: save your money, take the initiative and do it yourself. You will kick yourself later if you pay someone to do it, especially what you're willing to pay.

I gotcha... I've installed them in the past on all of the models - gs300,400 & 430. Its not a big deal, i've done like 5+ installs. I live in queens so just let me know when you would like to do it. Just take care of the brew, grub and we're good
