For reference I have 20% all around, including the windshield. I love it. Mines is cut so the reg shows through the windshield clearly so I fool you at first until you try to look in.

I have been ticketed but it is just the price of the game. Mines came up 17% on the meter.

If you are seriously trying to be on the up and up, I say go legal 35. But on the real 20 is usually the standard for tint... Just my two cents.

Honestly I would put what you had back on there. If not 30% would look good, 40 is just too light like Cat said. I have 20% on my car and have been riding that way for over a year, no problem. I can find the name of the place that did mine in Baltimore, if you like.

just dont tint your front window past 70%....thats all i ask.

i just got mine done yesturday @ Solar Solutions @ 45 for front and back, and it reads out @ the tint meter @ 35% legal and if its any other then 45 then it would read under the 35% its pretty dark if you have a black interior "edit - this would only replys for MA owners"
