New to Colorado
Hi all!
Just moved from the east coast. Looking forward to meeting some of you. I certainly have a few questions. Just noticed that there's no 93 octane!

Welcome ibizaflu! A Steelers fan in Colorado! Someone else who can join in our mutual hatred of Brady and the Patriots. You're right, there are very few stations that sell any octane higher than 91. Pynergy Petroleum at 4495 S Santa Fe Drive in Englewood sells a bunch of different grades up to octanes over 110. It's where the racers buy fuel. If you check around where you live, you'll typically find an independent gas station that carries something other than 89 or 91. But you won't find it at the chains like Conoco, 7-Eleven, Sinclair, Shell etc. Reply back with the part of town you're in and I'm sure a fellow CL'er in CO will point you in the right direction. Again, welcome to Colorado!

Haha! Yeah no fan of NE or Brady here. Thanks for the info, I was concerned about running a bit lean on 91. Just used up the last of 93 in my tank today. Know any around the highlands ranch area?
The other thing I didn't know was the emissions in CO. Different in NY/NJ, much easier... Looks like I need to get a hi-flow cat.

Ive been running shell 91 without a whole lot of issues, the air is thinner up here so it works out. You will probably need 2 hi flow cats cause thats how many our cars came with originally, just stick them on the midpipe that is the easiest part to swap out and it works fine.

mechanic recommendation
Long time lurker, first time poster.
I am looking at a 2009 LS 460L AWD in Loveland / Fr. . I would appreciate any recommendations for a mechanic to do a thorough pre -purchase inspection. From what I can tell from reading the forums and looking at the pictures, this vehicle has all potions save dynamic radar cruise control, so I would like someone fairly familiar with these beautiful cars.
When I purchased my LX out of state, I was able to get a mechanic recommendation off of IH8Mud and it worked out fantastic.
Thank you
Cameron

Hey Choxie, love that LS400! Beauty! I live in Fort Collins, I drive a sxv10 Camry at the moment, but You're not gonna find anyone more obsessed with Toyota/Lexus than me around lol. HMU if you ever wanna meet, go to cars and coffee or night meets etc.
BTW I'm Alex Larson on facebook! and here's my car, holla if you run into me ever! Take care. To cruise with ur LS400 around town would be fun, just don't leave my little 2.2 in the dust hahah
