I have owned the amp since new and it has been in 3 different cars, always bridged mono. For the last 3 years I have had it in my daughter's 6th generation Accord Coupe in a small truck box. These old RF amps are bullet proof and should continue to provide years of power. It is a great way to add more bass to your stock system without taking up too much space.
