Which harness is defective? The one connecting the iPod, or the one going to the car's head unit? I want to call Vaistech and make sure it is available and what the price is.

Hm, I'm not sure if it will work on a 99 GS.. Have to double check on that.

The defective cable is the ipod cable, i called them and they said its 20 bucks. Again, you can still control songs through your ipod, just not through the factory unit.
