It's time to sell my GS400
Car is not listed for sale anywhere. I would prefer another Lexus fanatic get their hands on this car first.
Before I go on, I want to give you the current status of the car
- The car is NOT running (If you want to hear it start, bring your own battery and you will hear it start)
- The car needs a new alternator / battery
- The car also needs an ABS Master Cylinder
- The car has front end damage
- The car's front cover (under the front) is held up with ties (Stemming from the car running through some debris on the road)
- Front seat upholstery shows wear
- Front console upholstery shows wear
- The car has scruffs on the rear bumper
No Parting Out. If you buy, you take the whole car.
Now, onto the specifics
1998 Lexus GS400
- Loaded, all options including NAV
- Car has never been modified and everything is stock
- Has stock HID lights with stock yellow fog lights
- I am the 4th owner, but I have owned the car for 15+ years
- The first 64,XXX miles were driven by the first 3 owners
- Car has always ran strong (No engine issues)
- No Check Engine Light issues whatsoever
- Car has always been garaged up until 2016
- Car was a weekend car and became a daily driver in 2011
- Navigation works
- Power Windows work
- Moonroof works
- No rust
- No frame damage
- Smogged in 2017
- Registration is current and paid for until 01/2020
Note: This video was taken in March before the battery died. Car currently does not start.

correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think any of the 98-00 Cars had any ML components. only the face lifted 01-05 had ML as an option. Unless you guys know something about my car that I don’t

this one has stock NAV, so it doesn’t even have the Nak sound system either. Weird how things were back then, as you choose from premium sound OR Navigation, not both

The main issue with the car is the need for an ABS Master Cylinder. That is what is keeping the car off the road. That (along with the front end damage) is the reason for the car’s asking price.
