Description:
Bought new in 2017 and had it installed for almost two years before taking it off for tag renewal. I am reluctant to put it back on since I have put out the work to remove it and put the stock exhaust on and one thing I did not like the smelly exhaust for not having the catalytic converter.
Few things I had done to make it fit better on my SC300 (mine is a 97 but any year will work)
- Moved the aft collector oxygen sensor mounting hole so that it doesn't interfere with the firewall.
- Move 3rd oxygen sensor (downstream of catalytic converters) mounting hole near its original position. The two-bolt-hole-flanged oxygen sensor cannot be installed in this mount due to clearance with the vehicle frame. I recommend defeating the CEL for not having this sensor plugged in another way and just cap off this mounting hole.
