This 1996 SC400 is one of fewer than 2% ever sold in the US market with a slick top roof, meaning the lack of a sunroof. That makes it a true custom order car (dealers would not order them without sunroofs), and the first owner owned and took care of this car for the first 23 years of its life. It has only had 2 owners since it was new!

The much-celebrated 1UZ-FE 4.0L V8 was created for the unbelievable cost of nearly $500 million dollars and used to launch the LS400 luxury sedan which helped them to enter the US market. This amazing engine was also used here in the SC400 luxury sport coupe, which uses it to great effect. In 1996, the SC 400's 1UZ-FE engine design was upgraded to 260 hp and torque climbed to 260. These engines were coupled with a 4-speed automatic transmission, and the air conditioning refrigerant was updated to the R-134A standard that is still in use today.

This SC400 comes with two keys (including master), one key fob, and all factory books and manuals. Factory spare tire, tools, and even the original first aid kit are included with this awesome car.  There is an aftermarket stereo head unit that has modern amenities like Apple CarPlay.
