Happy to announce I am now offering a repair kit for the notorious broken center air vents for the 98-00 LS400.
This kit includes everything needed to repair the most common broken components of the center air vents. The Left/Right (L/R) adjuster is an add on.
Included also are detailed instructions, pictures for removing the vents from the vehicle, repairing the vents and re-installation.
The kit does NOT include the vent slats, trim/bezel, vent housing or on/off dials. Verify what you need is included (the kit includes all the pieces that are usually broken).
I engineered the parts out of ASA (acrylonitrile styrene acrylate) which is heat resistant, UV resistant and durable. The design of the components were made more robust than the factory parts where possible. I've been successfully using these in the Arizona summer.
This only fits 1998 - 2000 LS400 (all trims) to my knowledge.

A lot of time, effort, reverse engineering and trial/error went into creating these with the goal in mind of keeping more LS400's on the road (including mine). These center vents are notorious for breaking and it's nearly impossible to find a working set for less than $200 online which isn't feasible for most people.
