change air filter on gs300

has anyone expirance your check engine light coming on right after you change you air filter, it happend to me today - i dont have a stock filter, it is a trd drop in, is this bad?

Whatever happened???

Having a 94 gs3(189k) I recently changed an air filter the following day the check eng. light came on!
Would this be a coincidence or anything related to O2 sensors needing replacements?

I installed my TRD filter about 2 months ago and did not have had any problems.

Is your the TRD Japan or the TRD US filter?

You'll need to reset the ECU if you are just putting in the TRD filter for the first time. The map sensor sees a loot more air than before and triggers the cel.
