Does anyone know if a headrest is a DOT regulated part and is a modification or lack of headrest a legal violation that can incur a ticket?
Is there an easy way to find which model and year lexus headrest will fit the 07 ES ?
I tried a 14 ES and the distance between posts is different.

5th generation ES was 2007-2012. Mid cycle refresh was 2010. Likely all those years will work, but 07-09 for sure.

Not having a headrest and getting rear-ended could be very bad. Best to fix it before using the car.

i am looking for a headrest that moves back and forward that will fit my 08 ES

 

going to bump this for 1 more try
i am looking to replace my headrest with one that pitches forward, any ideas on which used headrest will fit the seat?
