I'd like to roughly calculate the cost of maintaining my 2018 ES300h. This started by getting sticker shock when replacing the hybrid battery of my Prius. Being on fixed income, l want to park a little money every month so the Lexus battery would be paid for if/when the time comes. We run cars into the ground - just got rid of the 18 year old Honda van and 15 year old Prius.

Then I figured I should include tires and anything else beyond gas, oil changes, wiper blades, and other little stuff. So what else belongs on the list?

Battery - $4,000 at 12 years (WAG)
Tires - $700 every 4 years
Annual deep detail $200/year
Brakes and rotors?
Shocks?

I'll project it to 15 years and divide by 180 months.
