Default burned exhaust valve poor man's fix?

hello all

i am not very mechanically inclined and know just enough about cars to be dangerous to myself
long story short my 02 highlander 1mz 4wd has a burned exhaust valve on cylinder #2
is there much i can do to make this car driveable without replacing the valves?
the car runs but is misfiring Obviously as there is no compression in this cylinder
my question (don't make fun of me): if I unplug the coil and the injector for this 1 cylinder, will the car run better?
what else can i do short of lifting the engine?
i just want the car for when it snows a lot so i can fire it up and have it get me through a storm or two this winter
