How many have changed the oil viscosity in rx 350 from 0-20 to something else
Hello. I have read that lexus recommends sticking with 0-20 w oil in 2011 rx 350. I think the engine is a little noisy and was wondering if a 5 30 oil would hurt. I read somewhere that the variable valve timing requires that 0-20 viscosity. I'm at 50k Miles and no issues.

If you want trouble, change the viscosity!! The engine was designed for that specific 0w-20.
