Default Removing the cats on a 1999 RX300

Removing the CAT System.Hello all, I have a 1999 RX300 with 177,700 on it. I have a blown out flex pipe (I really hate this component) and upon inspection I pulled a half dollar size piece of debris from the third (by the muffler) cat indicating that one (or both) of the upper cats have collapsed. Could I remove all 3 cats and be fine like I have done to several vehicles, or would if make the motor run worse? And what about the O2 sensors, would I remove them or custom fit them to the catless system? I have not messed with imports before but I have always done my own mechanical work and also do classic restorations.

Thanks in advance

Scott

Yes remove them and poison all of us even more. Selfish people who think nothing but them matters in this world.

My state doesn’t do inspections anymore. They haven’t for years. Did you have anything helpful to say or are you just being a snowflake?

You must live in Florida lmao

But seriously do you care about the air quality? Literally thousands of people die every year due to asthma from poor air quality. Not to mention even if you don't have asthma, poor air quality does link to lung cancer.
