I'm hoping to hear from Mitsuguy or ArmyofOne or someone in the car repair business. My check engine and VSC light came on yesterday so I bought a Innova 3100 code reader and the 3 codes that came up are P0430, P0430, P0456. The description for P0430 is Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 2) and for P0456 is Evaporator Emission System Leak detected (very small leak). Some background on my car. Its a 2004 RX330 AWD with 191,500 miles, just had major service done at 189K along with water pump/timing belt, repaired coolant leak under manifold, seafoamed combustion camber thru the break booster line, fuel injector cleaner in the gas tank. It blows white smoke upon startup each morning but doesn't blow smoke the rest of the day. I am starting to feel a stutter somewhere between 30-40 mph when shifting, I'm not sure if this is related to the codes.

Posts I've read are to replace 2 oxygen sensors and possibly the catalytic converter to fix the P0430 codes, and to get a new gas cap for the P0456 code.

But I would really like to hear from the experts who see this sort of stuff day in and day out.

Also I'd like to know what I can expect to pay to have an Indy shop mechanic fix these items.
