2001SC430 rear trunk won't open with swith in cabin.pls help.only can open with remote control key.

Get yourself a test light and tap the wires at the switch and at the latch. There's got to be a cut in voltage somewhere. If it's the switch itself, you'll know right away. You can usually just pop the wires out and touch them together. When you complete the circuit, the trunk should open. If it doesn't, then it's not the switch.
