Default What's a good price for spark plug labor?

It's time to replace the plugs in my GF's ES350. I ordered the plugs from Sewell but after doing some research, i see that the intake has to be removed to access the rear 3. I'm pretty mechanically inclined but pulling that plenum up seems a lil scary for me and rather have a experienced tech tackle it. Anyone know a good labor rate this job? Got one quote from a good independent Lexus tech for $260 w/gasket. Is that a good price or too much?

That sounds about right. Figure 2 or 2.5 hours labor to remove the cowl and plenum to access the rear plugs and everything. I'd say go for it at that price

I am and probably could tackle the job if i had time, space, and a few more resources. Doin this job in a parking lot of an apartment with just a couple of wrenches/sockets is not how i want to work on my GF's car. If it was my ride then maybe but dont wanna risk it with her car.

totally been there its so sketchy doing stuff in an apartment if you have neighbors that will run and cause you problems. but yea usually 100 bucks an hour labor is typical
