2001 IS300 AC fan
 

I have a 2001 IS300 sedan owned sinced new, the problem I'm having is sometimes the ac fan wont come on unless you tap or hit it underneath the glove compartment then it works fine. Its very intermittent what could be causing this? I've done a search but didn't find an answer.
