Hi i am new to this car and new to this forums. HEllo all. anyways i got this use Lexus IS 250 AWD with 100k miles decent super nice 1 owner very well maintained. but i lift up the car and saw that the front differential is leaking . i when to the dealer and they told me is the seal how expensive is this or is this simple. is the front differential the car drives like a dream machine but it feels a bit rough after 40 only little cant little tell but i know cars . any help please would b great guys

what are you asking? im sorry but your question is a little unclear.

 

The dealer should have been able to tell you how expensive the deal plus labor is. It is likely not cheap to replace because of the extensive work involved in changing it.

As far as the vehicle being rough? The AWD model IS250 is known to be harsher... Did you road test the car prior to purchasing it? Compare it to a rear wheel drive model and you will see the difference.
