My 98 GS400 won't start...
I'm driving to the airport and all of a sudden my car turns off. The Lexus dealership has it and has not figured it out yet.
I have had the SRT chip/intake for quite some time and I don't think this is it. However, the battery needs to be changed out, yet when I tried to jump the car it seemed to have plenty of juice yet it wouldn't turn over. Could it be that my key fob is not transmitting to the computer? When you put the key in the ignition you have full power of all eletronics and can still unlock and lock the car. Any help would be much appreciated. |
why not let the dealership figure it out then they will call you and let you know what it is

Just got a call back and the bill will be about $1500. Fuel pump, plugs, battery and labor. This sounds insane to me. I'll keep you guys posted.

battery
i bet it's just the battery. Go to toyota and get one.

Fuel pump, screen, filter, plugs, battery, towing, cust roadside=1500 minus my *****ing=1085.85.
Damn. Oh, well. It does seem to run better though. Maybe that was why my dyno graph showed so many peaks and valleys-improper fuel delivery. |
wait, please explain to me what *exactly* they said went wrong...FUEL PUMP?? how'd that happen?
