If you are talking pads, I have tried several brands on my RX300 (and this is when I lived in the more brutal Mexico City) and found that the Akebono ProAct aftermarket brake pads performed best for me (Akebono makes the OEM brakes) even over brands such as EBC, Hawk, Carbotech, Ferodo of ones I tried while in Mexico.

I like Axxis/Bendix Mintex pads here - little dusting and pretty good manners. Avoid Raybestos like the plague. The OEM pad material on these cars are organic, these cars were shipped with Japan with asbestos-containing pads, newer pads are non-asbestos with ceramic content.
