Default need your low profile jack recommendations

In need of some advice in finding a good quality jack for lifting my dropped (2'') IS350.

Anybody got some recommendations? I'm tired of using the OEM crank in my trunk, and the cheapy ones at walmart always slams the car back down when I lower the jack, no matter how slow I release it...

What's your budget? There are a lot of jacks out there that are low profile, but it just depends how quality you want it to be. I have a jack that is low profile and long but even sometimes I struggle because the cross-member is located so far in compared to most other cars out there.

If you dont want spend a lot, there are always those mini-ramps that works wonder.

Anything under $300 and I'll consider...

What's the brand and model of yours?

Where do you get the mini ramps from?

OTC makes a nice aluminum racing jack... i bought mine on ebay.. search for OTC aluminum racing jack or similar combo of words... Mine came with 2 jack stands also, for under 300. I also have a pair of ramps that i use as well.. i bought mine from raceramps.com. Comes in super handy for side jobs in my garage

I dont have mini ramps myself because my jack barely makes it. I'm sure you can build one with wood

I have the AFF 200T low profile jack. It goes lower than the OTC racing aluminum jack, but the OTC is MUCH easier to maneuver. I dont know where the jacking point is on the 2IS, but if it's near up front, you can probably get away with the OTC jack. ORRR get some sort of ramps and you could probably use any jack out there.

AFF is in the middle and OTC is on the right

I remember the time you told me the wind blew the OTC away.

The AFF 200T is one of my favorite floor jacks. I'd also consider getting the Omega 29023 since it has an extra long body with a 2.5" minimum height for the first half of the floor jack
