can't clear code.!

90 LS 400, had the antilock / traction off light on. The code was a bad speed sensor in the RR. so had that replaced today.
But I can't get the codes to clear, I've already checked the connection of the new sensor, done the TC & E1 jump and pressing pedal 8 times within 3 second multiple times.

There was a code 35 before, but now the Antilock doesnt flash to give a code anymore. but both lights wont go away.

I checked and topped off the brake fluid as well just to be on the safe side incase that was creating it.

any ideas ?
thanks. ! :)

Might try resetting the ECU, unplug the battery for about half an hour to an hour (to kill the backup reserve battery) then hook it back up try to see if that does the trick.

Make sure you have the Ignition set to Key On Engine Off while you preform the jumper and brake process. When you are done you need remove the jumper and then cycle the ignition off and then on again. The lamp should then be off.

Resetting the ECU is always worth a shot also.

well,
I found quite a detailed article on this so I'm going to post it for others as well. I'll try to do it again using this manual from lexus :)
