Default Ripped Strut Boot

While looking over my brakes, I noticed that the driver's side rear strut boot was ripped in half, but both sides still in tact. Can anyone advise of what I should do, or if this can be lived with? Thanks.

it'll be ok. The only way to repair that is to take out the strut assembly, disassemble everything and replace the spring insulator as the shock boot and spring insulator are one piece. Way too much work just to replace the boot. Something to plan ahead for if you ever decide to replace the spring or shocks though.
