I have a 2003 rx300 and my dog chewed up the key! The actual key part of it is still good but all the buttons are destroyed. Funny thing is now it won't start. It turns over and acts like it wants to start but never actually starts. I'm thinking its it's a fuel pump issue but could it be from the key being chewed up? What issues are common for this vehicle? Someone please help?

I'm not 100% sure but it could be that the key is damaged to the extent that the immobiliser won't deactivate, and so is allowing the engine to turn over, but cutting off the fuel and preventing the car from starting.
