If I take off the wheels, hold the studs, and try to move clock wise and counter clock wise, I can move it a tiny bit. I could also hear some kind of metal to metal noise. Do you know what is wrong and is it easy to fix it? This seems to only happen to the front.

 

could be a few different things but we need more information. which wheel is it? do you hear anything while driving?

 

It's from both front wheels. I don't hear anything while driving but at 70mph+ I have a feeling that there's a little vibration, not from steering wheel but from the floor.

 

Do the brake pads seem to be binding the rotor rotation. if you force the pads back away from the rotors, do they free up?

 

A machenic I know just checked the car for me and he said everything is normal

 

Keep an eye for the "normal" brake pad wear and brake dust. Look for a discoloration of the disk. comparing the fronts to the rear disks.

What you discribe may be a little air in the brake lines and not allowing the hydraulic action of the master cylinder suck back the pads from the disks. Instead, the air compresses the brake fluid and causes the pads to drag on the disk.

Is the brake fluid fresh?

 

Yes, the brake fluid should be fresh.
