My 430 goes in my garage, next to my roommate's 335i. Having a two-car garage was pretty much an agreed-upon necessity when we went apartment hunting.
However, I must say that when I lived in the Bay Area, I parked my C43 in the apartment parking lot, uncovered, because I had my SC in the unwalled carport, and nothing ever happened to it. Not a chance I'd always take though.
