Unless you have modified the engine to produce more power at higher rpm then there is no point.
The engine produces it's maximum bhp before the redline and then starts to tail off. If you increase the rpm limit you will be producing less and less power. Also running the engine above the rev limit will wear your engine much faster.
The IS200 engine peak bhp is at 6,200 rpm. Change just after so that you stay near the peak power in the next gear.
