Question GX470 Front Bearing Maintenance

There is a 2 year/30,000 mile maintenance requirement for the front wheel hub of my GX470. One item requires re-greasing the bearings. Review of the maintenance manual for the car indicates the bearings are sealed units and pressed onto the hub. It does not appear the bearings can be re-greased. Also, it appears the splines on the CV joint shaft should be re-greased. Since the front hub is sealed I'm not sure how necessary this maintenance item is. Any clarification as to the necessity of these maintenance items and specifically how to perform is is much appreciated!

Welcome to CL. Yes, the front wheel bearing on the GX is non-serviceable with sealed type bearing like those on ES, GS, IS, RX, LS and SC. Just ignore the mis-printed in the manaul that was original in Japanese and then translated to Jing-lish.
