Serpentine Belt replacment procedure.
I have searched and searched for this topic and although there is tons of stuff on what other parts you need to change along with your serpentine belt there is nothing that actually shows how a serpentine belt actually goes back on.
Now i took it off yesterday but im not a mechanic by trade, but with the right info i can do it myself.
Now what i want to know is how di adjust the tensioner pulley to get the serpentine belt back on again? I dont need a new tensioner pulley as theres nothing wrong with this 1 and its been replaced only a few thousand miles ago.
Please help me as soon as.. as iv got to get the belt back on by tomorrow!
Any pics or diagrams would be greatly appreciated but just some general info on gettign it back on is enough for me to do it.
Many thanks in advance.
Sorry... forgot to mention that my car is the 1991 SC 2.5 Twin Turbo.

I dont have the same engine, but on mine, if you put a socket wrench on the pulley's center bolt, the pulley will pivot to the slack position, allowing you to install the belt.

I couldnt quite figure out what you were saying but i figured it out in the end.
The way to do it is to put a socket on the centre bolt AND turn it so that you are tightening it, that way the pulley will come back to its position.
Thanks for your help anyway.
